Biopsy of Skin Lesion
CPT Code 11102, 11104, 11106
A biopsy of a single skin lesion using a tangential (side-ways) approach by shaving off the lesion or scooping it out with a knife or curette, a punch technique with a sharp or hollow instrument for deep circular skin lesions, or an incisional (wedge) technique for large or deep lesions.
